DJ MEAT MISTRESS (aka Anita Serwacki) got her start guest-spinning at the legendary easy listening/vintage soundtrack soiree In Hi-Fi at Bar d'O, eventually partnering with In Hi-Fi's Jack Fettermen for the follow-up party, Soundtracks for Drinking.
She is also known as Luxuriamusic.com's "One Woman East Coast Ladies Auxiliary," often providing editorial material for the site as well as guest DJing whenever she visited the greater Los Angeles area.
Recently, her day job and not-too-terribly-secret night life collided when she served as music supervisor for the Robert Evans documentary "The Kid Stays In the Picture."
Currently, Ms. Meat is a resident DJ for both Star Shine Burlesque and Bombshell! Burlesque.
