Bella Beretta

Seattle

"What good is famous if it's not INFAMOUS?"

A volatile moltov cocktail of glitter and gutter built with just as much Tennessee Williams as Gypsy Rose Lee Bella Beretta has taken aim and carved out a bullet riddled niche as neo-burlesque’s most notorious bad girl.

Founder and former “Benevolent Dictator” of The Gun Street Girls of Seattle. In 1999 Miss Beretta brought a different vision of glamour and sought to push the limits and definition of burlesque and what it encompassed.

Infusing her performances with a uncommon array of cultural references-ranging from Tom Waits and Firewater to the art of Edward Hopper and Alphonse Mucha, Miss Beretta mines from the past, takes from now and looks to the future.

Now a resident of Hollywood Miss Beretta assumes her role as "The Shooting Starlet" continuing to wave the banner of "D.I.Y. T&A" for the opera drunks and circus punks and bring spectators a spectacle that is just as much fairy tale as it is pulp fiction.
